Beginner and experienced riders alike will love our Trail Rides. With about 170 acres of ranch to explore, there's something for everybody. Your guide will lead you across open fields, through the woods, and over a scenic hillside with views of Deep Creek Lake. On the trail you will likely see our Texas Longhorn cattle, whitetail deer, wild turkeys, and splendid views of the ranch and local area.
Our large herd of well-trained riding horses allow us to match riders of all ages and sizes with a horse that's just right for you. Because of our experience training western pleasure show horses, you can be sure that your horse will be well-mannered and ready to give you a fun, pleasant ride.

What to bring:
To get the most out of your ride, we recommend that you arrive in closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing. Many riders also find that riding in pants is more comfortable than shorts or a skirt. Helmets are not required but are available upon request. Also, don't forget your camera, lots of pictures are encouraged

The Beaten Path
This 60 min. (approx.) trail is our most popular choice. Sit
back in the saddle, relax, and enjoy the scenery as your group is
guided through 4 miles of diverse and beautiful terrain.
Price: $35 per single / fee for double

Appropriate for:
All ages and skill levels. Riders under 6 years or
50 pounds will be "double saddled" with an adult in the group.
Availability:
Reservations accepted for 9:30am-4:30pm year round (weather
permitting). Walk-Ins welcome any time from 9:30am to 5:30pm
during the peak months of June, July, and August.
The Cowboy Special
This 90 min. (approx) ride gives you more. More time in the
saddle, More trail, More fun. In addition to everything on
the beaten path, you will get to explore even more of the ranch.
You will even have the option to trot (jog) and canter (run)
your horse during this ride at your request.
Price: $50 per single / fee for double.

Appropriate for: All
ages and skill levels. Riders under 6 years or 60 pounds will
be "double saddled" with an adult in the group.
Typically, double saddled horses are not permitted to trot or
canter for the young rider's safety.

accepted for 9:30am-4:30pm year round (weather permitting). Walk-Ins welcome any time 9:30am-5:30pm during the peak
months of June, July, and August.
The Shortcut
This 30 min. (approx) trail is just right for riders with limited time.
Ride through open fields and a scenic hillside with views of
Deep Creek lake and still have plenty of time in the day for
your other activities.
