No matter what your age or riding experience is, you're sure to have a great time at Western Trails.  We've been making memories through horseback riding in Deep Creek Lake for over 40 years.  As the area's largest and most experienced trail ride provider, we are passionate about creating an experience that you, our customers, will enjoy for a lifetime.

The diverse landscape found on our 170 acre farm and our large selection of trail horses enable us to tailor your ride to you.  So, whether it's a slow relaxing walk through the woods or a trot and canter through open fields that you're looking for, we can provide just that.  We even have hand-led pony rides for the smallest of cowboys and cowgirls.

Horseback riding sound a little intimidating to you? You can still enjoy the scenery and livestock with your friends and family by touring our farm on a tractor-drawn hay ride.  If you want, we'll even set up a bonfire in the middle of your ride where you can relax or party with your group until you're ready to return.
